This meeting can be held virtually by virtue of The Local Authorities and Police and Crime Panels (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority and Police and Crime Panel Meetings) (England & Wales) Regulations 2020.

Regulatory compliance; To be considered
Planning Considerations; The Wivenhoe Neighbourhood Plan, Policy Wiv8 lists this piece of land as protected for the duration of the plan period. It is proposed that we inform the auctioneers of this planning status.
Proposal; That Wivenhoe Town Council purchase the piece of land between The Avenue and Ernest Road which is currently up for auction. Should acquisition of this land be successful, it will be used for the provision of public amenity.
