The Wivenhoe Bookshop is delighted to host an evening with athlete Wali Noori, about his extraordinary autobiography RUNNING BLIND.
Blown up and blinded by an explosion while working in his homeland, Afghanistan, Wali now lives in Colchester with a wife and three children he has never seen.
Out of adversity has come a insatiable desire to prove himself as an elite athlete. Whether you remember seeing him winning gold at the Invictus Games, appearing on the BBC’s The One Show or running a marathon, you cannot be failed to be inspired by Wali’s courage, patriotism, faith, love and respect for others.
