Active Travel at Essex County Highways

Essex County Council is working with district, borough and city councils and local community accessibility groups to create Active Travel Essex. The plan is to re-allocate road space to make more room for everybody to safely and efficiently walk and cycle in Braintree, Brentwood, Chelmsford, Colchester and Wickford.
