Wivenhoe Town Council- Job Vacancy

Wivenhoe Town Council have a vacancy for a public toilet cleaner and public pontoon keyholder to work at the weekends.


The role requires the job holder to unlock and lock the public toilets, High Street, Wivenhoe and the public pontoon, Wivenhoe on Saturday morning and evening and Sunday morning and evening (hours depend on the time of year). The post holder will also clean the public toilets on a Saturday and on a Sunday (hours to be agreed).


The rate of pay is the national minimum wage. You will be paid for:

  • 3 hours on a Saturday paid at 1.5 x the national minimum wage
  • 3 hours on a Sunday paid at 2 x the national minimum wage

There will also be the opportunity for the postholder to work occasional additional hours.
