DRAINAGE WORKS – WALTER RADCLIFFE ROAD W/C 15TH JULY

Essex County Council will be undertaking works in Walter Radcliffe Road, Wivenhoe to increase the size of the Main River culverts, on behalf of the Environment Agency.

The scheme will increase capacity within the local drainage network and reduce flood risk to local properties that have previously suffered from internal flooding. The works are scheduled to begin w/c 15th July for approximately 8 weeks, during which time we will be working closely with our contractor to ensure access is maintained to all residents and users of the local road network.

If you have any questions relating to the scheme or any concerns relating to continued access, please email us direct at floods@essex.gov.uk and we will get back to you promptly.
