NOTICE OF CASUAL VACANCY
IN THE OFFICE OF PARISH COUNCILLOR
Notice is hereby given under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972
that Tom Kane has ceased to be a member and a casual vacancy exists in
the office of Councillor for Wivenhoe Town Council.
If by 10 August 2023 ten electors registered within the said council area
request, in writing to the Proper officer of Colchester City Council, that an
election is held to fill the said vacancy then an election will be held.
Otherwise, Wivenhoe Town Council, will fill the vacancy by co-option.
