I was co-opted to WTC in 2021 having moved to Wivenhoe from North Norfolk where I had been a local councillor for many years. I have also been a Parliamentary candidate.

I have a keen interest in planning issues and in particular local plans. I'm currently reviewing the WNP to ensure it's up to date and reflects current planning legislation and meets the needs of local residents, young and old and businesses.

I enjoy rowing and row regularly with WivGigs and am a member of WSC. I'm also a member of Wivenhoe Society.

As well as being a local councillor, I'm an active pensioner and continue to work as an early years & childcare consultant as well as being the co-founder of a social enterprise, bringing all ages together.
