Wivenhoe Town Council – Community Days
At December’s full council meeting, WTC agreed to offer a series of ‘Community Days’ at the William Loveless Hall. These are days when the hire of this venue will be free to community organisations to further demonstrate WTC’s commitment to our community and our recognition of the range of groups which add great value to it.
By community organisation we mean a Wivenhoe based, politically neutral organisation, which supports one or more of the following:
- Enhances well being
- Enhances environmental goals
- Provides a social return on capital
- Supports vulnerable groups
- Supports sports and activities
- Supports artistic and musical communities
It was agreed that current users of the hall can apply and groups will not be allocated more than one day a year.
If you would like to apply please email the Town Clerk on townclerk@wivenhoe.gov.uk before 10 February 2022. All applications will be assessed by the Estates Committee at their next meeting on 16 February 2022.
