The car park and toilets are now open.
Crown reduction work will be undertaken to the Oak and Horse Chestnut trees in the Clifton Terrace Car Park on Thursday 20th February 2025. This work will be done by T&LC Tree And Lawn Company Ltd who are (amongst other accreditations) an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor – https://www.trees.org.uk/ARB-Approved-Contractor-Directory?postcode=CO7%209AB&radius=15 .The trees will also be netted in an effort to deter nesting this season.
The majority of the fencing has been removed today. Some has been left around some car parking spaces to ensure the area is kept clear for the crown reduction work to be done on Thursday. Following completion of that work the remaining fencing will be removed.
Please note that the car park will be closed on Thursday for the works to be done.
