We are looking for a new member of staff to work with our Estates Team. The work is extremely varied from maintaining outdoor play equipment, managing the upkeep of our open spaces to looking after the council’s vehicles and equipment.

  • Location- Council Offices, 77 High Street, Wivenhoe, Essex CO7 9AB
  • Department- Estates Team
  • Hours- 37 hours per week
  • Salary- Competitive and dependent on experience 
  • Pension scheme
  • Full training will be provided
  • Full Driving licence required
  • There is a six-month probationary period.

This role involves regular manual handling and physical tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment and materials, prolonged walking and standing, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. The post also requires the ability to safely perform these tasks in line with our health and safety procedures.
